Memorial DayCWVAThe May 27 Sunday Mass will be celebrated to honor Memorial Day. Our own St. Peter's Catholic War Veterans will be having a special program today after the 10:00am Mass. They will also be serving donuts and coffee. They are looking for new members to join the ranks. If you have served our country in the Armed Forces, please consider becoming a member of our Catholic War Veterans Group.

Holy Hour in Church May 29On Tuesday, May 29th we will have Mass in church at 7:00pm followed by Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament until 8:15pm. There is no special occasion marking this, but just some time to spend with Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament. Please join us. We can pray for our Bishop who is ill, the needs of our Diocese, and for vocations to the priesthood, or pray for anything you would like. We will also pray the rosary after Mass.

High School Senior Graduation Mass We will recognize our High School Graduates of 2018 on June 3, 2018 at the 10:00am Mass. If you would like to participate, please call Marge Conroy (330-673-7585) or Angela Moulton at (330-357-1589).

Blessing of the FieldsThe traditional "Blessing of the Fields" will take place Sunday June 3rd after the 10:00 Mass. We will have a small procession with the Blessed Sacrament outside to the St. Peter's Statue. Rogation prayers, and prayers for the blessing of the fields will be said. Father David will bless the four corners with the Monstrance. Please remain after Mass as we pray for a successful harvest and protection from storms.

St. Anthony Relics June 13First Class relics of St. Anthony will be touring many parishes in our Diocese. You are welcomed, of course, to visit any of the churches where St. Anthony's relics will be visiting, however, I have my own first-class relic of St. Anthony. You can join us in church on Wednesday, June 13th, for the Feast of St. Anthony for Mass at 7:00pm. We will have the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick, and veneration of the relic after Mass. Please join us.

Clothing Center Volunteers St. Peter's volunteers two days each month at the Portage County Clothing Center. The first day is the fourth Monday of the month from 10:00am to 2:00pm with a lunch break. The second day is the fourth Thursday of each month from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Note that, during some months, additional days may b e scheduled. Please check the bulletin or Event Calendar to confirm Clothing Center dates.

NOTE: No Monday Volunteering Day because of the Memorial Day holiday. Thursday Evening May 24 and 31, 6:00pm to 8:00pm. If possible please help out on one of these evenings.

St. Anthony of Padua Relics - June 10 & 16th St. Anthony/All Saints Parish: will be holding our annual St. Anthony Feast day celebration on Sunday, June 10. Along with our mass and picnic, we will be hosting the Holy Relics of Saint Anthony of Padua. Veneration will be from 8:30am to 3:45pm. Mass outside at 10:00am, followed by procession of the Saint through the neighborhood. Food lines will be open at noon. The feast day ends with Adoration and Benediction at 4pm. Church is located at 1530 11th St. S.E., Canton.

St. Joseph Canton: The Franciscan Friars invite you to join them in welcoming Saint Anthony of Padua. St. Anthony will be visiting St. Joseph Church in the form of two precious relics from his Basilica in Padua, Italy. The relics will be accompanied by a friar from the Messenger of St. Anthony in Padua. Veneration begins at 12 Noon, Holy Vigil Mass at 4:00 pm. Saint Joseph Catholic Church is located at 427 E.
