Feast of the AssumptionThe Feast of the Assumption of Our Lady is a Holy Day of Obligation in our Church. Vigil Mass of the Assumption will be Wednesday evening, August 14th at 7:00pm. On the 15th, Mass will be in the morning at 8:30am. Please bring flowers and herbs to be blessed on this beautiful holy day.

Prayers requested for Bishop Murry Bishop MurryThe leukemia Bishop Murry suffered from last year has returned. Bishop Murry entered the Cleveland Clinic on July 3rd for a 28 day program of chemotherapy. The goal will be to prepare him for a bone marrow transplant in September, which his doctors believe is the best way to prevent another occurrence of the cancer. The Bishop humbly asks that the people of the diocese pray for him and promises his prayers in return. If you would like to submit a message or offer up a prayer request for Bishop Murry, you can submit them via email to The Diocese will collect them all and deliver them to Bishop Murry.

Holy Hour July 23There will be a Holy Hour and Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament on Tuesday, July 23rd after the 7:00pm Mass. Please join us for Mass and bring a book or your rosary with you to spend some extra "quiet" time with our Lord.

Catholic Charities School SuppliesCatholic Charities are once again asking for school supplies. The collection takes place between July 1 and August 1. For a list of needed items, see the June 30 or July 14 bulletin.

Clothing Center Volunteers St. Peter's volunteers two days each month at the Portage County Clothing Center. Normally, the first day is the fourth Monday of the month from 10:00am to 2:00pm with a lunch break, and the second day is the fourth Thursday of each month from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Please check the bulletin or Event Calendar closer to the end of the month to confirm Clothing Center dates, as days may be rescheduled.

St. Philomena's Feast Day Celebration The 16th Anniversary of her Navarre Shrine. Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Holy Family Parish, St. Clement Church Campus, 216 E. Wooster Rd., Navarre, Ohio.

9 am – Rosary and Chaplet,
10 am – Holy Mass celebrated by Fr. Joe Tuscan. Potluck brunch to follow. Everyone welcome!
