Friday, January 18th we will have a special Mass at 6:00pm, followed by a Holy Hour of Prayer and Reparationin to pray for all of the marchers in Washington DC, and elsewhere in the United States.  Services will conclude with Benediction and Supplications to the Blessed Sacrament at 7:20pm. Please join us.

Altar Rosary & Youth Group Field Trip An Altar Rosary field trip with the Youth Group is planned Saturday, March 16 at 9:00am to St. Clement Catholic Church, Navarre to see the Shrine of St. Philomenia and meet Dr. Henedine Aldana. Her story of how the shrine came about is very interesting and amazing. Lunch will follow. More information to follow!

Home VisitationsIf you would like Fr. David to bring communion or the anointing of the sick to your home, please contact the office so a visitation can be arranged. Also, if you know someone who is home bound and would like to receive the parish bulletin, please let us know at the office so that a bulletin can be mailed to them.

Youth Group News All high school students in the parish are welcome to participate. Please contact Terry Lakos at terrylakos@gmail.com if you wish to join.

Mass Cancelations During the Week Just a reminder that if Rootstown Schools are closed on a weekday because of bad weather, we will not have morning Mass, and all activities in the parish are canceled for the day, including choir practices. Also, if you are sick, PLEASE stay home and recover. It is not a sin to miss Mass if you are ill.

Clothing Center Volunteers St. Peter's volunteers two days each month at the Portage County Clothing Center. Normally, the first day is the fourth Monday of the month from 10:00am to 2:00pm with a lunch break, and the second day is the fourth Thursday of each month from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Please check the bulletin or Event Calendar closer to the end of the month to confirm Clothing Center dates, as tThese days may be moved or additional days may be scheduled.

The Center is located at 3377 State Rt. 59 in Ravenna. For more information about volunteering, please call Mary (330)850-5192 for Monday, or Veronica (330)297-9818 for the Thursday shift.

Right to Life of Northeast Ohio Bus TripTravel with Right to Life by bus for a one day trip to the annual March for Life in Washington DC on January 19, 2019. This is an awesome event that must be experienced! A limited number of seats are still available. Departure is 12:00am Friday morning, arriving in Washington DC around 8:00am. Bus departs Washington DC at 5:30pm and arrives in Akron approximately 1:00am Saturday. Cost is $50 per person.
