Mass & Confession ScheduleFr. David will be on vacation from September 20th - 30th. There will be no daily Masses celebrated September 19th through and including October 1st. There will be no Confessions September 22nd.

Father Pfeiffer will celebrate the Masses on the weekends of September 23rd and 30th. If there is an emergency, such as a funeral, please call Bill Conroy at (330)673-7585.

Daily Masses in area parishes are as follows: Immaculate Conception, Ravenna 8:00am M-F, St. Joseph, Randolph 8:30am M,Tu,Th,F and 6:00pm W, and St. Patrick, Kent, 8:30am M-F.

CCD The first Family CCD Meeting of 2018-2019 started out with a blessing from Fr. David for our students, teachers and parents. We registered around 45 students in grades 1- 8th. The classes will be held from 8:45-9:55am.

The Mogadore Out of Darkness Walk to Fight Suicide The walk will take place at Wingfoot Lake State Park on September 23, 2018. Contact parishioner Diane Michalec at (330)325-7212 or email her at for more information and to register to walk.

The Youth Group will be walking in the "Out of Darkness" walk. Meet at 12:00 at Wingfoot Lake Park to register. The race will start at 1:00pm. Anyone is welcome to join us.

Altar Rosary Due to bad weather the Altar and Rosary meeting and dinner at the home of Helen White was canceled and will now take place in October. More information in a future bulletin.

Reverse Raffle K of CSt. Peter of the Fields Parish and the Knights of Columbus, Council 5173 will be having a combined reverse raffle, Saturday, November 10, 2018. Charitable Giving... ...sometimes goes into a steep decline during the summer months. Our own Catholic Charities is having a Fund Drive to Fight Hunger during the summer. A donation of $20.00 can have your name on a paper plate to help feed a hungry person. You can donate easily to our Catholic Charities on line.

Clothing Center Volunteers St. Peter's volunteers two days each month at the Portage County Clothing Center. The first day is the fourth Monday of the month from 10:00am to 2:00pm with a lunch break. The second day is the fourth Thursday of each month from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Note that, during some months, additional days may b e scheduled. Please check the bulletin or Event Calendar to confirm Clothing Center dates.

St. Joseph's Mantua Blue Mass The Mantua K of C invites all local Law Enforcement, Fire, and EMT members and their families to a Blue Mass to honor our safety forces on Sunday, September 23, at 11:15am. A community picnic will be held in St. Joseph Pavilion immediately following, given by the K of C. Guests are asked to bring a dish to share, meat and pop will be furnished. Annual Faith and Family Festival, September 23rdA day of fun and fulfillment for families, students and friends will be held on the West Quad of the campus of Walsh University at 2020 E. Maple St., North Canton. The free event starts at 11:00am with Mass.

5K Fun Run and 1 Mile Walk... Benefit Men & Women United for Life, Saturday, September 29th at 9:00am at the Canfield Fairgrounds.

Sister of Notre Dame Annual BBQ and Boutique Sunday, September 30th, Noon to 5:00 pm. Chicken and Rib dinners available. Dine in or Takeout. Lots of craft items, art, cards, religious items, baked goods, and more at the Boutique. The sisters will be making jams and jelly to sell. If anyone has any jelly jars that don't need, they would appreciate them.

Diocesan 25-40-50th Wedding Anniversary CelebrationThe second Diocesan Wedding Anniversary Celebration for 2018 will be held Sunday, October 21, 2:00pm at the Basilica of St. John the Baptist, Canton. This celebration is provided for couples observing their 25th , 40th, or 50th and over wedding anniversary in 2018. Please register with your parish by September 16th.
