It's that time of year...When Rootstown schools are closed because of bad weather, there will be no weekday morning Mass or devotions. Also, if you are sick with a cold, flu, etc., please stay home from Mass. You will get well sooner and avoid passing it on to someone else.

Sign of Peace & Communion: During cold and flu season, it is not necessary to shake someone's hand, especially if you, yourself are sick. A friendly wave or nod will suffice.

The use of the cup for communion on Sunday has been suspended for the time being, probably until the end of March, or at least until the end of the flu season.
