Mass Time Changes

As part of our joint parish Mission, daily Masses May 24 and 25 will be at 7:00 pm at St. Joseph, Randolph. Mass on Friday, May 26 will be at St. Peter's at 7:00 pm. There is no 8:30 am Mass at St. Peter's on these days.

As of May 14, our new 10:00 am Sunday Mass replaces the 9:00 am and 11:30 am Masses. The 4:00 pm Saturday Mass remains unchanged.

Joint St. Peter - St. Joseph Parish Mission Please join Wednesday, May 24 - Friday, May 26 for a Mission about St. John Neumann. Masses on Wednesday and Thursday will be at 7:00pm at St. Joseph's Church, Randolph. Friday evening will be at St. Peter of the Fields at 7:00pm, Amss will be celebrated in the Byzantine Rite. The choir from Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic Church in Akron will be here singing the responses.

Fr. Ray Collins, a Redemptorist (Religious Order) priest from Philadelphia will be speaking on the life of St. John Neumann at both parishes. Confessions will also be heard before the Masses.

Annual Memorial Day MassMonday, Memorial Day, May 29th, we will have our annual Memorial Day Mass at the cemetery altar at 9:00am. Please feel free to bring chairs to sit. In case of bad weather, we will have the Mass in the Church. Please come an honor those war veterans buried in our cemetery, and all those who gave their lives in the service of our country.

Rootstown Knights of Columbus ...will hold a Reverse Raffle on Saturday, May 20, at St. Peter of the Fields Hall. Doors open at 6:00pm. Cost - Single $50.00-Double $65.00. Indudes meal, drinks and a good time. We need your support on this event. The proceeds of the SO/50 raffle go to the scholarship fund for a tuition voucher to a Catholic high school. Clothing Center Volunteers St. Peter's volunteers two days each month at the Portage County Clothing Center. The first day is the fourth Monday of the month from 10:00am to 2:00pm with a lunch break. The second day is the fourth Thursday of each month from 6 to 8:00pm. Please check the bulletin or Event Calendar to confirm Clothing Center dates.

St. Joe's Mantua "Treasure in the Trunk" Fundraiser The Appalachian Experience Team of St. Joseph's in Mantua is hosting a fundraiser on Saturday, May 20th, 8:00am till 2:00pm in the church parking lot. Magnificat Women's Ministry Breakfast Mary, Queen of Heaven and Earth Chapter of Magnificat, a women's ministry modeled after the Visitation invites you to a breakfast Saturday, June 10th at Walsh University, Barrette Center, 2020 E. Right to Life of Northeast Ohio... ...will be presenting the movie "The Euthanasia Deception: We are all vulnerable," on Wednesday, June 7th, 2017 at 7:00pm at their office, located at 572 W. Mission Discernment/Service Week June 19th to 23rd, the Vocation Office is planning to offer a discernment/service week for men age 16 to 35 in the Cumberland Kentucky area. During the daytime participants will provide service to individuals and families who are indigent and in need of improvements to their homes and in other ways. In the evening there will be discernment opportunities specifically designed for the men attending. A special emphasis on the priesthood will be offered.
