Mass time changesCommunion Services will be offered in church Tuesday-Friday at 8:30am the week of June 19th-23rd. Fr. John Trimbur will be on stand-by should there be an emergency. If there is such an emergency, please call Mr. Bill Conroy at (330)673- 7585.

There is no Friday morning  Mass June 30. 

Fr. Trimbur will be celebrating the Masses on July 1st and 2nd.

There will be no weekday Masses Monday and Tuesday, July 3rd and 4th.

CWV Rummage SaleThe Catholic War Veterans Rummage Sale that will be held on July 22, 2017 in the Church hall from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. If you would like to rent a table to sell items, price is $10.00 per 8 foot table. Please contact Richard Rodenbucher (330-677-5752) by July 17th.

Home VisitationIf parishioners are homebound, or eill become homebound, please call us and let us know. I will be happy to make arrangements to visit you and bring the Sacraments to you. Do not be afraid to call! If a priest is too busy to visit his parishioners, he is just too busy! Also, if you would like to receive the bulletin by mail, please contact us at the office as well.

Mass in German at the German Family SocietySunday, June 25, Fr. David will be offering Mass in German at the German Family Society on Ranfield Rd. This is the annual "Church Festival" that happens on the weekend and all are invited. Our 10:00am Mass here will be a "quiet" or Low Mass that weekend so Father can get to the German Club for Mass at 11:30am. This is always a nice celebration. You are invited to attend, and stay after to enjoy the wonderful German food and beer. Again, the Sunday Mass at GFS is at 11:30am.

Clothing Center Volunteers St. Peter's volunteers two days each month at the Portage County Clothing Center. The first day is the fourth Monday of the month from 10:00am to 2:00pm with a lunch break. The second day is the fourth Thursday of each month from 6 to 8:00pm. Please check the bulletin or Event Calendar to confirm Clothing Center dates.

The Center is located at 3377 State Rt. 59 in Ravenna. For more information about volunteering, please call Mary (330)850-5192 for Monday, or Veronica (330)297-9818 for the Thursday shift.

School Supplies – Catholic Charities The Ravenna office of Catholic Charities serving Portage and Stark Counties will once again be collecting school supplies to help families in need prepare for the upcoming school year. While all standard school supplies are gratefully accepted, a list of the most-needed items include backpacks & book bags, (new or gently used), lunch boxes or bags, washable markers, dry erase markers, highlighters, threering binders, wide ruled or college ruled loose-leaf notebook paper and notebooks, three prong pocket folders, glue sticks or bottles, black, blue and red pens, #2 pencils, calculators, disinfecting wipes, hand sanitizer, and boxes of facial tissues.

Holy Ghost Ukranian FestivalSaturday, June 24th, Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1866 Brown Street, Akron is having their annual Ukrainian Festival. There are traditional Ukrainian/Slavic Foods, Ukrainian Music, and carryout available. There are also tours of the Church. The Festival is on the parish grounds from 12:00noon-7:00pm. All are invited to attend.

St. Ambrose Chicken Dinner FestivalSaturday, June 24 1:00-8:00pm and Sunday, June 25 11:00am-7:00pm. Adults: $10.00, Child: $6.00. Carryout available. Delicious chicken dinners, Chinese auction, games of chance for adults, children's games, raffles, and bingo.

Celebrate Religious Liberty On July 4, Bishop George V. Murry, SJ will preach the homily at a Holy Hour taking place at 6:45 pm at St. Columba Cathedral (154 W. Wood St., Youngstown) in observation of the annual Fortnight for Freedom. All are invited to pray for our nation and join in a "Fireworks Extravaganza" on the front porch of the Cathedral which includes a free cook-out followed by fireworks over the city of Youngstown. Donations accepted. Bring lawn chairs and soft drinks. RSVP's are necessary: 330-744-8451 ext. 271.
